Black’s Services has dug up exterior basements and crawl spaces for over eighteen years.
Exterior excavation is the process whereby we dig down, clean walls and recoat with a sealtight mastic, and add a french drain with #57 stone.
There are a number of factors that go into deciding whether exterior excavation is the best option.
Those factors include, but are not limited to;
- Is your basement finished to the point where it would be cost prohibitive to remove walls in order to repair from the inside?
- Condition of your existing foundation wall.
- In addition to these considerations, exterior excavation can also impact existing landscaping adjacent to your home.
